Meeker's Haven is a lake front cottage built by Charles and Amy Meeker in 1907 on the shore of Saddle Lake in Southwest Michigan. With its shallow, sandy beach and large shady trees it's the perfect getaway and family vacation. 

Summer rate (Memorial Day - Labor Day) is $1,000/week. Reduced Spring and Fall rate is $700/week or $125 per night with two night minimum.




             Saddle Lake (298 acres) is located in South West Michigan, 14 miles East of Lake Michigan and 30 miles West of Kalamazoo. It is approximately a three hour drive from Chicago or Detroit off Interstate 94. Meeker’s Haven is a two story cottage with three bedrooms and a bath sitting 40 feet from the shore.  Kal-Haven Trail is a bicycle trail from Kalamazoo to South Haven on what used to be the railroad route. The trail crosses 51 1/2 St. approx. 3/4 mi. from the house.  (No motor vehicles allowed.) 

 Sherman’s Creamery (South Haven) has the best ice cream around and the local “hot” spot on a Sunday evening, though good anytime.

 U-Pick blueberries in July and August around Grand Junction, the blueberry capital.

 Within a 30 minute drive you will find:
